Sandblasting and Painting Works
During the second phase of the Shkopet HPP project, specialized operations were carried out for the cleaning and protection of structural elements:
• Inspection of the technical condition of the spiral casing and draft tube;
• Execution of all NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods:
• Visual inspection
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
• Penetrant Testing (PT)
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Repair of damaged areas and preparation of the units for installation of new components.
