Shkopet HPP – Turbine Replacement
As part of the modernization of energy production capacities, Novamat has undertaken the project of replacing two existing turbines of 2 x 12 MW with two new turbines of 2 x 13.3 MW, along with all associated auxiliary systems.
The first phase of the project includes:
1. A complete audit and inspection of the current site conditions, equipment, and systems to be replaced;
2. Implementation of European HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards;
3. Dynamic and static testing of the overhead crane with a load capacity of up to 63 tons to ensure safe and proper operation during equipment handling;
4. Dismantling of the existing turbines and their auxiliary systems, including generators, runners, DTL, filtration system, drainage pumps, and the discharge valves of the spiral casing and draft tube.
